The Problem
Editing pins take too many steps (4-6 steps), which makes users err and confused when they:
1. Accidentally pin to the wrong board.
2. Want to delete an older pin from a board.
The Solution
Simplify the user flow by reducing the number of steps via two additional features:
1. Undo/ Move Function
2. Trash Can Button
The Impact
Decreased user error rates from:
50% to 17% for editing pin location.
60% to 10%
for deleting older pin.
100% found the new features more intuitive.

Reflection Time
What I learned
Reducing the number of steps in completing a task has a direct effect on reducing user error rates, resulting in a better user experience.
What I would do differently
Experiment with a toggle option (like Spotify) and compare this against the other solutions with another user testing.
Next steps
Extend these new features to the boards and work on modifying multiple pins at once.
